HoN Tempest Item Build

Tempest's has one of the best game-changing ultimate's in Elemental Void. The key to being successful with Tempest is being able to land an ultimate that can disable as many hero as possible.

Assuming that you picked Tempest and you have 603g you must either buy a Monkey Courier (200g) or if someone else has purchased one, then upgrade it into a Winged Courier (200g).

Tempest need's a courier to relay items back to him while he is jungling, you must be consistently destroying Neutral Creeps in order to get a Portal Key (2150g) as fast as possible.

Also, placing a Ward of Sight (100g) in your jungle allows you see enemy's coming from a distance, so you have time to hide from them.

After you Upgraded/Bought a courier and placed a ward you have 303g left, purchase six (6) Mana Potions to be able to spam your Elemental summons to kill Neutral Creeps.

As soon as you have 500g use your courier to send you a Ring of the Teacher to increase your mana regeneration.

Once you have another 500g purchase marchers from the shop and more mana potions until you have a Portal Key.

You should have a Portal Key by now and you should be looking to gank constantly.

When you aren't ganking continue farming for your Ghost Marchers, then get a Shrunken Head, then with a Shrunken Head you will be able to activate it, PK (Portal Key) in and safely use your ultimate without being interrupted by any abilities.

Late game you should be going for a Restoration Stone (5200g) it resets all your spells that are on cool down, so you can use your ultimate twice in a team fight!
